one of the best days

mom 

mom had so many good days. 

we worked hard for some

others came easily. this was my birthday and i wanted something simple

a picnic in a boat ( loaned) with my brother, kids, and mom

I got my wish, and she had a great time on the lake

she was always a willing and happy participant

in family outings, loving that we were together and in the sun.

Her wishes were for lasting bonds that would get us through whatever was ahead.

I think she is getting her wish, even now.

God blessed with good weather, and only a few lightning storms and small rain showers.

my camp was at gilbert lake,
where I enjoyed a great sunset ans some fishing.
Next morning over Kearsarge pass to look down on lakes of the same name.
